An approach we aspire to
How we want to build.
Listen carefully, test assumptions, and make room to change direction. The principles we want to put into practice.
Listen before building
An interesting idea is a starting point. We want to understand who needs it, what they do today, and why an alternative would matter. Conversations and observation should help us decide what is worth testing.
Test one question at a time
We intend to begin with small prototypes that answer specific questions. A test might show that an idea needs improvement, a different audience, or no further work. Being willing to change direction is part of the process we want to develop.
Design for people
We want our products to be understandable and useful. Technology, visual design, and communication should serve that goal together. We will learn how well we are doing by watching people use what we make and listening to their feedback.
